The plants are starter plants that can range in size from 2-8 inches depending if they were cut back or growing cycle, but most of the time they are 3-7 inches. Plant Description
Florida Special is a pineapple selected to be more cold tolerant. It has withstood temperatures in the mid-30’s without the fruit being damaged. This is a sweet great tasting golden pineapple with spineless stocks. These are great plants for zone 9-11 and can be used for pineapple farm production, homeowner gardens and do great in pots for patio gardening.
How to Grow
First, I Recommend to start off your plants by growing them in a 4 inch pot with Happy Frog Potting soil. This product has fertilizer and soil beneficials already mixed in. After, your plants are larger and more rooted, they can be re-potted or planted in normal decent soils about 3-4 ft apart. Water when your soil is about dried out. Plants like Full Sun, but a little shade won’t hurt.

Please re-pot your plants immediately and if there are concerns please take pictures of how they arrive and what they look after they are re-potted. Send your concerns immediately. After 7-14 days if your plants are not showing signs of proper growth we will offer a solution. Our solution may be a credit, replacements or refunds.
