The plants are starter plants that can range in size from 1-8 inches depending if they were cut back or growing cycle, but most of the time they are 3-6 inches. Plant Description
Chicago Hardy Fig is considered a cold hardy fig that can produce figs on new year's growth even after the plant freezes back. Most figs produce figs on prior years' growth and have a second Fall harvest on some new growth. Chicago Hardy may produce a first Summer smaller crop, but will fruit mostly in the Fall. The fig is medium sized purplish-brown that has a good sweet taste. The Tree can grow up to 15-30 ft. tall over 7-10 years.
How to Grow
First, I Recommend to start off your plants by growing them in a 4 inch pot with Happy Frog Potting soil. This product has fertilizer and soil beneficials already mixed in. After your plants are larger and more rooted, they can be re-potted or planted in normal decent soils about 3-4 ft apart. Water when your soil is about dried out. Plants like Full Sun, but a little shade won’t hurt.

Please re-pot your plants immediately and if there are concerns please take pictures of how they arrive and what they look like after they are repotted. Send your concerns immediately. After 7-14 days if your plants are not showing signs of proper growth we will offer a solution. Our solution may be a credit, replacements or refunds.
